Russia's October car production slightly rebounds, market recovering
Carmakers in Russia continued to reduce production in January-October due to low demand, show national statistical service Rosstat data.
About 959,000 passenger cars were produced during the first ten months of the year, down by -22.5% on-year, Kallanish notes. This is an improvement on the -25.9% fall after nine months.
However, in October alone almost 147,000 cars were assembled, up by 3.3% on-month and 5.4% on-year.
