Russia’s November stainless imports decrease
Russian imports of stainless steel decreased in January-November amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, says national special steel association USSA.
Russia’s stainless intake in the first 11 months of the year amounted to 315,760 tonnes, down by 3.5% on-year, Kallanish notes. In November alone, stainless imports amounted to 27,030t, down by 2% compared to October and less by 47.4% on-year.
