Russia’s ferrous imports follow export rise

Russian ferrous imports increased in January-June, according to the country’s federal customs data monitored by Kallanish. Imports of ferrous products under HS code chapter 72 were 2.9 million tonnes, up by 15.4% on-year. In June alone imports reached 579,800 tonnes, up by 11.4% compared with May.
