Russia’s ferrous exports increase in 2021
Russian ferrous exports increased in 2021, according to national customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Shipments abroad of ferrous products under HS code chapter 72 were almost 43.5 million tonnes, up by 8.4% on-year. This is a slowdown from January-November growth of 11.7% on-year (see Kallanish passim). In monetary terms, volumes increased in 2021 by 80.3% on-year to $28.8 billion.
