Russia’s February car output rebounds, components shortages return
Carmakers in Russia continued to reduce production in February amid the Ukraine war, Western sanctions and shortages of components.
Production dropped 70% on-year to 32,600 vehicles, but was more compared to the previous month, Kallanish notes from national statistical service Rosstat.
In January, Russian carmakers produced 21,300 vehicles, down 77.6% on-year (see Kallanish passim).
