Russia’s consumption of pipes to grow in 2021
Consumption of steel pipes in Russia will grow by the end of 2021, according to the head of the Russian Foundation for Development of Tube Industry (FRTP), Igor Malyshev, during an online briefing monitored by Kallanish.
Volume will amount to 9.7 million tonnes, up by 4% on-year and the share of large-diameter pipes (LDP) will be about 1.6mt against 1.5mt last year and up to 2mt in 2022, FRTP claims. Consumption of OCTG is expected also to grow in 2021 by 4% to 2.…
