Russia’s Almaz-Antey invests $460m in former Toyota plant
Russia’s Almaz-Antey defence company plans to invest RUB 35-37 billion ($460 million) in restarting the former Toyota plant in St. Petersburg, says Mikhail Podvyaznikov, general director of Obukhov Plant, part of Almaz-Antey Holding.
Investments will be used to prepare the enterprise for the production of trucks and electric vehicles (EVs), Kallanish notes.
According to Podvyaznikov, the plant plans to produce annually up to 2,000 BAZ truck…
