Russia's Abinsk starts up modernised minimill
London-headquartered plant and equipment supplier Primetals Technologies tells Kallanish that the company’s recent mill upgrade project in Russia has begun operations.
The minimill modernised by Primetals was started up at Russian longs’ producer Abinsk Electric Steel. The modernisation included the company's electric arc furnace, ladle furnace and 6-strand continuous billet caster.
