Russia’s 2022 stainless imports decrease amid sanctions
Russian imports of stainless steel decreased in 2022 amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and new sanctions against Moscow, says national special steel association USSA.
Russia’s stainless intake last year amounted to 372,070 tonnes, down by 19.6% on-year, Kallanish notes.
