Russia's 2020 car production decreases, outlook mixed
Carmakers in Russia reduced production in 2020 due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and low demand, according to national statistical service Rosstat data.
About 1.26 million passenger cars were produced during the year, down by -17.5% on-year, Kallanish notes. This is an improvement on the -19.7% fall after 11 months.
