Russian steel output rebounds in June
Russian steelmakers produced 6.33 million tonnes of non-alloy semi-finished steel in June, up by 11.4% on-year, but less by 0.3% on-month, according to national statistical service Rosstat data monitored by Kallanish.
In Мay, output is estimated to have reached 4.98mt, up by 4.3% on-year (see Kallanish passim).
In January-June steel production was more by 8.5% on-year at 38.2mt.
Russia’s June finished steel output was also up by 14.8% on-year at 1.75…
