Russian stainless output decreases in September
Russia’s production of stainless steel decreased in September, show national statistical service Rosstat data monitored by Kallanish.
Output amounted to 15,600 tonnes, down by -16.3% on-year and -14.5% on-month. However, production of stainless steel in January-September increased by 1.9% on-year to 105,760t.
August output rose 19.3% on-year to 18,200 tonnes, which was also up 9.8% on-month (see Kallanish passim).
