Russian Railways increases ferrous shipments in January-October
Russian Railways increased deliveries of ferrous metals in January-October, show the company’s data monitored by Kallanish.
Shipments amounted to 56.7 million tonnes, up by 3% on-year. Rail transport of ferrous scrap was 13.7mt, which is 17.5% more.
In the first ten months of the year almost 100mt of iron and manganese ore were loaded, up by 0.3% on-year.
