Russian ferrous imports decreases in August
Russian ferrous product imports decreased over January-August, according to the country’s federal customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Eight-month imports of ferrous products under HS code 72 were 3.42 million tonnes, down by -32.8% on-year.
In August alone imports decreased by -7.1% compared with the previous month to 441,000t. In July imports had increased by 22.7% compared with June to 465,100t.
