Russian export duties will spare stainless shipments: USSA
Russia’s additional export duties will impact only a part of Russian exports of stainless products, because most of them are delivered to Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries, according to national special steel association USSA.
The Russian government has proposed to levy an export duty on steel and metals of 15% from August to December 2021 (see Kallanish passim). They will be valid only for supplies outside EAEU.
