Russian carmakers ramp up production in February
Carmakers in Russia increased production in February, according to national statistical service Rosstat data.
About 124,700 passenger cars were produced during the second month of the year, up by 6.3% on-year, Kallanish notes. In January-February almost 219,000 cars were assembled, up by 3.3% on-year.
The production of trucks in February amounted to 15,300 units, up 25.7% on-year and in the first two months of the year output was 20,900 trucks, up 49.1%.
