Russian carmakers continue to decrease production
Carmakers in Russia continued to decrease output in September, according to national statistical service Rosstat.
About 106,000 passenger cars were produced during the month, down by 25.5% on-year, Kallanish notes. However, in January-September over 1 million cars were assembled, up 20.5% on-year.
Production of trucks in September amounted to 17,000 units, up by 20.6% on-year, and in January-September output reached 129,000 trucks, gaining 40.8% on-year.
