Russian automotive production declines significantly in November
Carmakers in Russia continued to decrease output in November, which dropped 78.84% on-year to 24,000 vehicles. This means January-November production was only 410,000 units, down by 67% on-year, according to national statistical service Rosstat.
In October, Russian carmakers produced only 37,000 units, down 64% on-year, one of the steepest falls since Covid-19 lockdowns slashed output to 30,000 cars in April 2020 (see Kallanish passim).
