Russian car exports could boost auto sheet producers
Russian carmakers have decided to step up export sales due to weak demand in the CIS market, management at top Russia-based carmakers said at the recent International Moscow Automotive Forum monitored by Kallanish.
Russian car sales in July decreased -16.6% on-month, after a -12.5% fall in June. According to Association of European Businesses forecasts, sales in 2016 will decline -10% to 1.4 million vehicles.
