Russia increases stainless steel output in July
Russian production of stainless steel increased in January-July to 152,220 tonnes, up by 27.4% on-year, Kallanish notes from national statistical service Rosstat.
In July alone, output reached 28,900t, up 32.4% on-year, but 0.5% less than the previous month.
Leading Russian manufacturers of stainless steel for the period were Red October with a 37.5% share, Mechel’s Izhstal with 19.2%, Zlatoust Metallurgical Plant with 18% and Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Wor…
