Russia increases domestic railway pipe shipments, exports fall
Russia increased pipe shipments by rail in April, according to Russian Railways (RDZ) data. The volume amounted to 681,000 tonnes, which is 4% higher on-year but flat on March, Kallanish notes.
Domestic deliveries amounted to 612,100t, up by 7% on-month and 11% higher than in April last year.
Exports of pipes by rail from Russia however decreased 37% on-month and 30% on-year to 50,100t.
