Russia extends scrap export duties till year-end
Russia’s government has decided to extend the quota for the export of scrap and waste of ferrous metals outside the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) from 1 August until the end of the year.
The quota amounts to 1.35 million tonnes, at a duty of 5% of the customs value but not less than €100/tonne ($102).
