Russia decreases iron ore output in July
Russian production of iron ore decreased in July, says national statistical service Rosstat.
Output amounted to 23.26 million tonnes, down by 11.6% on-year and 0.7% less than in June, Kallanish notes. In seven months, the production of iron ore fell by 3.3% to 176.75mt.
Iron ore concentrate production amounted to 7.48mt, down by 13.4% on-year and 0.9% less than in June. The production of iron ore concentrate in January-July decreased by 3.7% to 56.61mt.
