Russia decreases car production in March
Carmakers in Russia continued to reduce production in March amid the Ukraine war, Western sanctions and shortages of components.
Production dropped 20.3% on-year to 32,500 vehicles and was slightly less compared to the previous month, Kallanish notes from national statistical service Rosstat.
In February, Russian carmakers produced 32,600 vehicles, down 70% on-year (see Kallanish passim).
