Russel posts record second-quarter earnings
Across-the-board improvements in selling prices drove North American service centre chain Russel Metals to reports its highest quarterly earnings since 2008 in the second quarter of 2018, Kallanish reports.
Russel earned CAD 66 million ($50.4m) in Q2 on sales of CAD 978m. In Q2 2017, the company earned CAD 33m on sales of CAD 817m.
