Russel Metals sees first-quarter price, volume uptick
North American service centre chain Russel Metals saw its profits grow in the first quarter due to boosts in both pricing and volume, Kallanish learns from the company’s earnings review.
Russel collected a net profit of CAD 38 million ($29.55m) on sales of CAD 931m in Q1, up from CAD 30m on sales of CAD 804m in Q1 2017.
