Russel Metals sees momentum continuing in fourth quarter
Toronto-based service centre chain Russel Metals predicts relatively smoothing sailing ahead in the fourth quarter, according to the company’s Q3 earnings review and guidance.
Russel posted a net profit of CAD 68 million ($51.88m) on sales of CAD 1.1 billion, double Q3 2017’s net income, Kallanish notes. The company largely attributes the jump to its US pipeline projects and an uptick in both selling pries and volumes.
