Russel Metals closes 2016 with profit
Canadian service centre chain Russel Metals returned to profitability in 2016, largely due to improved steel pricing, Kallanish learns from the company’s year-end review.
Russel earned net income of CAD 63 million ($48.09m) in 2016 on sales of CAD 2.6 billion. In 2015, the company lost CAD 88m on sales of CAD 3.1 billion.
