Russel looks forward to more stable 2016 prices
Falling steel prices bit into Toronto, Ontario-based service centre chain Russel Metals’ bottom line in 2015, but - outside of the energy sector - the company expects smoother sailing ahead in 2016.
Russel posted a loss of CAD 88 million ($64.26m) in 2015 on total sales of CAD 3.1 billion. In the year prior, Russel posted net income of CAD 124m on sales of $3.87 billion, Kallanish notes.
