Russel completes $120m City Pipe buy
Toronto-based service centre chain Russel Metals has completed its acquisition of oilfield pipe, valve, and fittings supplier City Pipe & Supply of Odessa, Texas, Kallanish reports.
The CAD 160 million ($120.46m) buy extends Russel’s reach into the Permian, Eagle Ford, Granite Wash, Barnett, and Haynesville oilfield basins, “...which collectively represent 60% of the active rigs in the United States,” Russel says.
