Russel Metals to acquire City Pipe
Toronto-based service centre chain Russel Metals Inc plans to purchase City Pipe and Supply for CAD 160 million ($120.46m), Kallanish learns from a company release.
City Pipe is a pipe-valve-fitting distributor for oil and gas firms in the Permian, Eagle Ford, Granite Wash, Barnett and Haynesville Basins, according to Russel. It maintains distribution sites in Odessa, Big Spring, Weatherford and Longview, Texas, as well as Hobbs, New Mexico.
