Roy Hill starts loading first cargo
Australian miner Roy Hill has begun loading its first cargo of iron ore at Port Hedland, the company says. The mine will add up to another 55 million tonnes/year to seaborne supply once it ramps up to capacity over 15 months, Kallanish notes.
The 171,810 deadweight tonne MV Anangel Explorer docked at the Roy Hill Wharf in Port Hedland on Monday afternoon. Loading of low-phosphorus iron ore began immediately, Roy Hill says.
