Rizhao Steel to commission ESP line in November
Rizhao Iron & Steel Group in Shandong province plans to put its No.5 Endless Strip Production (ESP) line into production on 23 november, according to Xu Wenyuan, head of the project’s working group, Kallanish notes.
The new line will have 3 million tonnes/year capacity to produce ultra-thin hot-rolled steel coils. Rizhao Steel has previously commissioned four ESP lines with 7.65m t/y of capacity and three more are planned.
