Rizhao Steel completes sintering upgrade
Shandong Rizhao Iron & Steel has completed an ultra-low emissions upgrade of eight sintering machines at its steel plant, meeting the national and provincial government requirements, Kallanish notes.
The steelmaker invested CNY 900 million ($127.27m) in the upgrade project. The operation of the modified sintering machines is expected to reduce annual PM2.5, SO2 and NOx emissions by 914 tonnes, 3,656t and 15,538t respectively.…
