Rizhao Iron & Steel closes down converter
Rizhao Iron & Steel (Rigang) completed the shutdown of its No.1 60-tonne converter on 10 September, Kallanish notes.
Rigang has closed two 60-t converters. In February last year, the company prepared to shut down its No.4 converter, a 450-cubic-metre blast furnace, and two sintering machines, one of 90 square metres and one 180m².
