Rio Tinto iron ore train derails

An autonomous iron ore train, operated by global miner Rio Tinto, derailed just after midnight on Monday, Kallanish notes. The firm has commenced an investigation into the accident.  Rio Tinto's spokesperson confirms to Kallanish that a rail incident occurred about 80kms from Karratha shortly after midnight on Monday.
