RINL posts sales rise, eyes increasing export deliveries
Rashtriya Ispat Nigam (RINL)’s steel sales grew 5% on-month to 521,000 tonnes in September, against 498,000t a month earlier. Sales in April-September (H1) were at 2.6 million tonnes and turnover was INR 13,287 crores ($1.76 billion).
In the September quarter, the company’s deliveries surged 40% on-quarter to 1.56mt and revenue was at INR 8,034 crores, Kallanish notes.
