RINL posts record steel output, exports and revenue
Rashtriya Ispat Nigam (RINL)’s saleable steel production surged 37% on-year to 456,000 tonnes in October, against 333,000t produced a year earlier. Steel sales grew 34% to 446,000t, against 333,000t last year. Sales in April-October were at 3.04 million tonnes.
Export deliveries grew 58% to 111,000t in October, Kallanish notes. Sales revenue rose 86% to INR 2,402 crores ($325.05 million) against last year's INR 1,290 crores.
