RINL majorly lowers prices for September
India’s Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) has majorly lowered domestic list prices for representative sizes of different long products, billet and pig iron for September, Kallanish notes. It has left its 8mm rebar price unchanged and slightly raised its 40mm round bar however.
Prices for 5.5mm, 7mm and 8mm wire rod reduce to INR 38,890/tonne ($540.28/t), INR 38490/t and INR 37,610/t respectively or by INR 3,200/t from the previous list.
