RINL lowers longs and pig iron for August
India’s Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) has lowered domestic list prices for representative sizes of different long products and pig iron for August, Kallanish notes. It has left its square billet price unchanged however.
Prices for 5.5mm, 7mm and 8mm wire rod reduce to INR 42,090/tonne ($594/t), INR 41,690/t and INR 40,810/t respectively or by INR 1,000/t from the previous list.
