RINL increases wire rod and rebar list prices
India’s Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) has raised some of its monthly domestic list prices for March, Kallanish notes, whilst some are left unchanged. The steelmaker has not published a pig iron price again this month in an identical move to February.
Prices for 5.5mm, 7mm and 8mm wire rod are increased by 2.6% from the previous list to INR 40,400/tonne ($545.35/t), INR 40,000/t and INR 39,900/t respectively.
