RINL drops prices on falling domestic demand
Owing to sluggish demand for steel in the domestic market, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam (RINL) has dropped its semi-finished and finished long steel prices for December deliveries.
The firm has decreased prices for IS 2830 grade 125mm square billet by INR 3,000/tonne ($39.45) on-month to INR 49,100/t ex-Vizag for December deliveries, from INR 52,100/t ex-Vizag for November deliveries. Similarly, RINL has dropped IS 1786 Fe 500D 8mm rebar in coil from INR 61,200/t to INR …
