RINL crude steel output rises sequentially
Rashtriya Ispat Nigam (RINL)’s crude steel output grew 73% on-month to 447,000 tonnes in August, against 258,124t a month earlier. Liquid steel and saleable steel output clocked at 500,000t and 443,000t, respectively.
RINL’s saleable steel sales grew 49% on-year to 498,000t against 335,000t last year. The company’s steel exports soared 39% to 151,000t, while domestic sales grew 53% to 348,000t, Kallanish notes.
