Rigang Group details capacity expansion
The Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology has given more details of the capacity expansion of Rizhao Steel Holding Group, Kallanish notes.
Rigang Group plans to build two 3,000-cubic meter blast furnaces and two 300-tonne converters. Construction is scheduled to start in 2020, with commissioning in 2022. Capacity will amount to 5 million tonnes/year of iron and 6m t/y of steel.
