Renault ramps up production in France
French carmaker Renault has ramped up production at its Batilly plant, northern France, Kallanish learns from the company.
The plant specialises in the manufacture of large vans for Renault and its partners, Nissan, General Motors and Renault Trucks. This month Batilly has achieved its highest-ever annual production rate for all brands combined.
So far this year the plant has produced a total of 126,375 vans, breaking its previous production record of 123,202…
