Reliance talks semiconductor facility on earnings call
In Reliance’s earnings call last week, company ceo James Hoffman assured listeners the company isn’t making semiconductor chips any time soon, despite its noted capital expenditure on a semiconductor facility, reports Kallanish.
Instead, the company suggested that a new facility in Texas is suited for equipping its partners in Arizona, Ohio, and Texas with steel products that can reduce stoppages seen in industries like the auto sector.
