Reliance acquires tubular master distributor
Service centre chain Reliance Steel & Aluminum is acquiring Massachusetts-based Merfish United. Terms of the purchase from One Equity Partners were not announced, Kallanish understands.
Merfish is a master distributor of tubular building products, including welded and seamless steel pipe as well as copper, plastic, and electrical pipe. The company had sales of $500 million in the first half of 2021.
