Reliance acquires Alaska Steel
US service centre chain Reliance Steel & Aluminum has acquired Anchorage, Alaska-based Alaska Steel Company, Kallanish learns from a company announcement.
Alaska Steel is composed of three service centres in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Kenai. The company’s 2015 sales were about $33 million. Further details of the transaction were not disclosed.
