Reduced prices hit Qasco earnings despite increased shipments

Lower selling prices dragged down Qatar Steel (Qasco)’s revenue in 2019 by -12% on-year to QAR 5.1 billion ($1.4 billion). Prices declined by the same rate and were only partially offset by a 1% growth in sales volumes, parent Industries Qatar (IQ) says without providing tonnages.
