Red October's steel production rebounds slightly in September
Production at Russia’s Red October (Krasny Oktyabr) increased slightly in September, the company says. It amounted to 25,900 tonnes, up by 3% on-year.
In August it was 25,500t (see Kallanish passim).
The Volgograd-based steelmaker produced 3,700t of stainless steel in September, up by 4% on-month. Carbon steel long products output amounted to 17,500t. Flat products of nickel and chromium bearing steel grades output rose 2% to 2,800t. Around 5,400t of steel…
